Terms & Conditions

At SightCare we pride ourselves on the quality and effectiveness of our training and business growth services. We value very highly the relationships we have with our members and want to do everything we can to develop and sustain those relationships. With that in mind, we have established a simple set of terms and conditions in order to clarify the commercial aspects of those relationships.

Please take a moment to read these conditions and call us if you have any queries or feel that they are unreasonable. In the absence of such communication we will assume that you have accepted the conditions.

Intellectual Property

For all training and business growth services the materials provided remain the intellectual property of SightCare Services Limited and its partners, who assert their right to worldwide copyright unless specifically agreed otherwise in writing.

Data Protection

SightCare Services Limited does not sell, trade or rent its data to any other organisations.

VAT will be charged at the prevailing rate

These terms and conditions (published June 2018) supersede any previously published versions whether online or in print.


Please let us know in advance if you have particular requirements concerning who and where to send the invoice to. Bookings made online are classed as definite bookings and are liable for full cancellation and no-show terms (Group Sessions only).

Invoices are raised immediately following Group Sessions and will be sent to the agreed contact and payment of invoices is due 25 calendar days from date of our invoice.

Payment for Bespoke Packages is by monthly Direct Debit on 1st of each month.

Any no shows for any reason on the day of a Group Session will be charged at full cost.

Expenses incurred in the delivery of Single Bespoke Sessions will be charged at cost. This will include travel, accommodation, meals and freight/carriage. Travel by car will be charged at 45p per mile. Venues/lunches are paid and arranged prior to each event by the practice.


A 50% refund will be made should a Group Session delegate or Single Bespoke Session practice cancel giving a minimum of 14 working days’ notice. Cancellations due to illness are not refundable however a substitute delegate can be sent to a Group Session in their place. Any out of pocket costs for a Group Session delegate such as lunches and refreshments will not be reimbursed.

SightCare reserves the right to amend content, timings, dates and published prices, or to cancel any event. A full refund or alternative date will be provided if SightCare has to cancel or postpone a Group Session or Single Bespoke Session for any reason. An agreed alternative date will be provided if SightCare has to cancel or postpone a Bespoke Package Event for any reason.

If you are unable to attend a Group Session due to unforeseen circumstances, you may make a once-only transfer to another Group Session provided you notify us in writing at least one month in advance. We regret that no refund can be given if a cancellation is made within one month of the Group Session date. We are happy for you to transfer your registration to a colleague at any time without charge. All changes/cancellation must be advised in writing.

Bespoke Packages

Bespoke Packages are for a minimum of 12 months but if after the first bespoke event you believe it is not for you can cancel the 12-month agreement and you will be invoiced at the Single Bespoke Event fee at the prevailing rate. A Bespoke Package Event may be rescheduled giving a minimum of 14 working days’ notice.
