SightCare strengthens regional member support with two new Membership Development Manager appointments
SightCare is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Membership Development Managers, strengthening its regional support for independent opticians across the UK.
Kevin Briggs has been appointed as Membership Development Manager for the South, while Cindy Scott takes on the role covering the North.
Both appointments reflect SightCare’s continued investment in its membership team, ensuring practices receive tailored, hands-on support as the organisation rolls out its evolving Membership Value Proposition.
Kevin brings over 30 years’ experience in the optical sector, having worked across both multiple and independent practice environments. A highly experienced practice manager, he has a strong track record in driving performance, increasing sales and adding value at practice level. His background also includes regional learning and development roles, giving him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by practice teams and how to support them effectively.
Cindy joins SightCare with extensive commercial and sales leadership experience gained across FMCG, retail and healthcare sectors. She has a proven ability to secure new business, build long-term relationships and drive growth in competitive markets. Well accustomed to working across regions and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, Cindy brings a proactive, relationship-led approach that aligns closely with SightCare’s member-first ethos.
In their roles, Kevin and Cindy will focus on developing new member relationships, supporting onboarding, strengthening engagement with existing members and providing insight and feedback to help shape SightCare’s ongoing development.
Emma Rawlings, CEO of SightCare, said:
“We’re really pleased to welcome Kevin and Cindy to the SightCare team. Kevin’s long-standing experience in independent optometry, combined with Cindy’s strong background in commercial development and relationship management, gives us a great balance of skills. Their appointments will help us continue to support our members effectively as we roll out our evolving Membership Value Proposition.”
