The SightCare Awards Ceremony is one of the most anticipated moments of SightCare LIVE 2026 — an opportunity to recognise the people, practices and innovations that make our independent optical community truly exceptional.
Held at the iconic Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham, this year’s ceremony promises an unforgettable evening featuring a sparkling drinks reception, a beautifully prepared three-course dinner, and the presentation of twelve prestigious awards. It’s a night to celebrate achievements, share success, and connect with colleagues from across the UK.

The event takes place on Sunday 26 April 2026, following the SightCare Members’ Workshop earlier in the day.

The SightCare Awards ceremony is a black-tie event.
Guests are invited to dress for a glamorous evening of celebration — think dinner jackets, tuxedos, evening gowns, cocktail dresses or other formal attire.
Professional photographers will be capturing the evening, so it’s a perfect opportunity to dress up and shine.
To make the evening as smooth as possible for delegates, complimentary shuttle buses will operate between selected hotels and Edgbaston Stadium before and after the awards ceremony.
The service includes:
Pre-event pick-ups from the designated hotel
Return journeys after the ceremony
Accessible-friendly transport (please contact us if required)
A timetable will be published once confirmed.
Awards entrants (including shortlisted practices) receive three complimentary tickets to the ceremony.
Awards sponsors and SightCare members receive two complimentary tickets.
