When to Post on Twitter
When it comes to posting on Twitter, timing is everything. Tweets appear on your newsfeed every second (depending on how many accounts you follow!), and it can be easy for them to get lost in the crowd. The best way to counteract this problem is to learn the art of scheduling.
As many of you know, you can use our free dashboard to schedule content ahead of time, which makes it far easier for you to make sure you are posting at the right times.
Here are the times we find work the best:
You guessed it, people tend to look at their social media channels during their lunch break, so this is a prime time for tweeting! It has been proven that tweets are most likely to be retweeted at 12 – so that’s a great time to aim for for maximum exposure.
That commute home on the tube, train or bus with nothing can do often leads people to looking at their phones, 5pm is a prime retweeting time.
Once work is typically finished, dinner has been eaten and children are in bed, people tend to browse their social media channels on the sofa. Most of our interactions happen at this time as people are feeling social!
