8 FREE marketing tools that you could find helpful
Working for a not-for-profit organisation I love a free tool to help with marketing and communication – here are 7 of my favourites that could help you as an independent business owner – saving you time and money:
My latest favourite of all free tools is Canva – a very simple drag and drop design solution. Simply create a free account online at www.canva.com and browse through literally thousands of templates to create social media graphics, brochures, leaflets, surveys – basically anything you want to communicate to patients that needs that something special.
2. Social Dashboard
I have been using SightCare’s social media dashboard over the last couple of weeks to publish our social media posts across the different accounts that we manage (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc) and it has saved me a LOT of time. Not only does it allow you to organise your posts in advance, it also has a design feature to help you gt creative with your social media.
3. Google Analytics
Google Analytics does pretty much everything in terms of tracking the traffic to your website. There’s a large amount of information, generously given away for free. Just sign up for a google account and get started!
Video content is increasingly important to get your message out there and Youtube provides you with great platform to host that content. Sign up for a free Youtube account and start creating and sharing.
Surveymonkey is a fantastic free tool for collecting customer feedback. By collecting customer data, you’ll have greater knowledge about what’s working and what’s not working in your marketing efforts.
Although I have not personally used Mailchimp, it is widely recommended as an invaluable free marketing tool to create professional email marketing campaigns.
Infographics can generate high returns… if they’re done properly. Piktochart can help you to develop engaging infographics, even if you have no prior experience. With a library of hundreds of templates and images, it’s easy to get started creating your own infographic library.
8. Blog topic generator
Ever struggle for ideas for what to put on your blog? Then try HubSpot’s blog topic generator https://www.hubspot.com/blog-topic-generator – and see what you come up with!
