For independents to establish and maintain their share of the optical market it is important that the right promotional strategies are adopted. Sight Care is able to offer guidance in this area and appraise current methods objectively. Ideas on how to formulate a marketing plan, what kind of PR works and suggestions on the appropriate ways to promote a quality practice are available to members.
Operating within a highly competitive UK optics market, it is essential that independents are able to differentiate themselves from the chains and supermarkets. One way of supporting and communicating the philosophy of a practice is for individual practices to have their own practice leaflet.
In providing this member benefit, Sight Care is happy to assist with the copywriting, design and production of such material upon request.
A valued and key benefit of Sight Care membership is the provision of a FREE, twice-yearly, patient newsletter enabling members to communicate directly with patients and potential patients in an informative way. The newsletters are produced in A4, four page, full colour format and overprinted to identify individual member practices. In March and October each year members are offered a choice of newsletter approach.
The 'standard' version is available over-printed with the name and contact details of individual practices, and 1000 copies are FREE as a part of Sight Care membership.
A 'logo' version is offered enabling members to have their practice logo and corporate typestyle adopted in the header. A small charge is made for this level of personalisation.
A 'bespoke' version is also available. This allows members to use the front page of the newsletter to communicate relevant personalised text. This may take the form of announcing new staff members, an anniversary or the introduction of new practice technology; in fact anything the member considers relevant. An additional charge is made for this option. We have a team of professional writers available to generate the appropriate text, saving members the need to undertake this themselves.
